Space to pause
Powerscourt Springs was a new idea for Irish hospitality: a getaway giving you the space to rest and reconnect in a laid-back, accessible way. The Great Sugarloaf watches over the estate, the River Dargle flows around it, and it has its own natural spring.
Today we are an adults-only wellness hotel, just 30 minutes from Dublin.

Our history
1996
Two women who had visited health farms in the UK noticed there was nothing like it in Ireland, and opened Powerscourt Springs with 11 bedrooms, 8 treatment rooms, a restaurant, pool and fitness studio.
2001
After a few years convincing the Irish public of the idea, it became the buzzword for pampering and was extended.
2008
The original health farm closed. For a time it became a private retreat for well-known figures from Ireland and abroad.
2020
Reopened in July under new ownership, reviving the original idea: an adults-only escape where you can pause, rest and reconnect.

A note from our General Manager
Welcome to Powerscourt Springs
Since it first opened in 1996, guests have come to Powerscourt Springs Health Farm to rest, reset and rediscover a slower pace. It is a privilege to carry that tradition forward with a team who care deeply about every stay.
Whether you are joining us for a spa day or a few nights away, our hope is simple: that you leave feeling lighter than when you arrived. We look forward to welcoming you.
